Hardin Valley Middle School

As a design-build partner with Denark Construction, Barber McMurry designed a sustainable and vibrant middle school in Hardin Valley.

The efficient design reflects the constrained site, while prioritizing student safety and creating an effective and positive learning environment. Every classroom and most shared spaces have windows that allow in natural light and views. Acoustical cloud ceilings add a youthful vibe to spaces that typically don't see architectural detail. Vibrant blue accents reinforce school spirit while supporting safety — in an emergency, first responders can more easily navigate the facility.
