Child Development Lab

The Child Development Lab at Carson-Newman University is a preschool and playground for local children that also operates as an immersive learning experience for CNU students pursuing an early childhood education degree.

The building, which respects the traditional architecture of Carson-Newman’s campus and surrounding residential neighborhoods, prioritizes natural light and open, flexible spaces for children. The playground provides play opportunities for young children of varied ages and development capabilities.

The Child Development Lab also houses offices, conference rooms, workroom, restrooms, administrative support & storage spaces.
