King Family Library

King Family Library is a central library in Sevier County that interprets classic regional architectural elements — including heavy timber trusses, stacked stone, and wood paneling — in a modern way. The design established the library as a distinctive local landmark.

The library houses book stacks, meeting spaces, cafe, genealogy and historical research area, rare materials vault, reading room, and children's and teen centers. The two-story lobby and two-story reading room have cherry-paneled walls, exposed timber, and stacked-stone fireplaces, while the lobby includes an open central stair that serves to unite the library into a cohesive whole. Colorful furnishings and decor inject lively energy to the traditional architectural elements.
