Magnolia Harbor Carefarm

For our 2024 Day of Service, Barber McMurry completed a master plan, site plan, and conceptual designs for Magnolia Harbor Carefarm.

Magnolia Harbor provides therapeutic services to those who have experienced traumatic grief or loss through nature-based therapy that includes connection between animals and humans. The client requested the site be planned to accommodate a pavilion, therapy and art-making space, a sanctuary native-plant garden, and "rainbow bridge" for those grieving.

The studio divided into multiple teams to complete pro bono master planning and concept designs for Magnolia Harbor, generating multiple options for the site and for concepts for major Carefarm elements.
